MASSAGE THERAPY ... Why Massage?
|
|
|
We are committed to making a
contribution to the integrity of the horse community by creating awareness
of the benefits of massage, educating horse owners and expanding our
knowledge and practice of non-invasive modalities for the benefit of horse
and owner. |
 |
Performance problems, poor disposition
and annoying barn “habits” are symptoms that may be the result of muscular
problems. Treating the ‘symptom’ of muscular problems is not always
effective. Equine Sports Massage utilizes non-invasive techniques to
physically manipulate muscles to help PREVENT INJURY and aid muscular
problems that cannot heal themselves.
|
|
EQUISPORTS THERAPISTS use a combination
of massage strokes in a prescribed sequence with pressure point treatments
to efficiently increase your horses’ PERFORMANCE potential 20-100%
The benefits of massage are profound in
the treatment of chronic problems as well. Tension, tying up and colic have
all been treated with success through massage therapy. Your horses’ overall
WELL BEING is maintained through veterinary care, proper dental and shoeing
schedules as well as massage therapy. |
 |
We are Equissage trained and certified
through Mary Schreiber, members International Association of Animal Massage
and have over 20 years experience owning, grooming, training and competing
horses. As a philanthropic project we massage the Tampa Mounted Police
horses on a weekly basis at Hunter Oaks in Tampa.
Please call or email Equisports Therapy
for more information on how massage can work for you. We offer standard and
custom massage programs to suit you and your horses’ needs.
